Registration of FSSAI/Food License

FSSAI is a short form of Food Safety and Standard Authority of India. The institution is a body that is a governmental organization that is the sole and highest decision-making body responsible for issuing Food License Registration. It is the body that is responsible for governing and monitoring of food business in India. The institution is responsible for the proper distribution of food products of good quality and also is in charge of curbing out bad quality food, which also includes adulterated sub-standard food. The body also lays down the rules and regulations concerning FSSAI License Registration for food business operator (FBO) in India. FSSAI License number that is issued by the Food Safety and Standard Authority of India is number having a fourteen digit which is a fourteen digit number unique number assigned to the applicant.   • New license- Rs 7500/year.
  • Renewal license- Rs 7500/year.

  • Duplicate License- Rs 10% of the applicable license fee.

  • Form B.
  • Plan of the processing unit showing the dimensions and operation-wise area allocation.
  • Address, contact details, and photo ID of directors and partners.
  • List of equipment and machinery used and their installed capacity.
  • List of food categories to be manufactured.
  • Procurement of raw material for milk, meat etc.
  • Ministry of Commerce Certificate.
  • NOC/PA document issued by FSSAI.
  • Form IX.
  • Certificate from the Ministry of Tourism.
  • Proof of possession of premises.
  • Partnership deed/ affidavit of proprietorship.
  • Food safety management system plan.
  • NOC from the municipality or local body.
  • Supporting document for proof of turnover.
  • Declaration form.

  • Proof of possession of premises
  • Partnership deed/ affidavit of proprietorship.
  • Copy of License from the manufacturer along with NOC.
  • Copy of certificate obtained under the Multistate Coop Act 2002.
  • Food safety management system plan or certificate.
